McDonald’s Canada Has Released Five Li’l Donut Flavors That Are Here To Stay!
After testing in select markets across Canada last year, these are the winning varieties…
- Boston Cream
- Apple Fritter
- Strawberry Jelly
- Maple Caramel
- Sprinkle
Of course, I had to try them all…
If you’re curious, I’ve listed them in my order of preference 😉
My Review & Key Points:
- They are SMALL. The pictures don’t do the size justice. There is a reason they call them “Li’l”. They are likely half the size of the donuts you’re used to. So, with that said, just order two or more. He he!
- Yes, it’s still McDonald’s, but the quality is there. Hubs and I both agreed the quality was far superior to Tim Horton’s (sorry Timmies!).
- They taste great (and pretty dang fresh). Apparently our expectations were low; we were impressed.
- They are undeniably cute. Especially the Sprinkle. I can’t help but think of The Simpsons when I look at it (80’s and 90’s kids rejoice!).
- If you order six, they (should) come in a cute Li’l box (see what I did there?).
Overall, these McDonald’s mini donuts get two thumbs up from me and I’ll be ordering them again.
